Pineapple strawberry skewers with a sweet cheese sauce



For the sauce:

  • 150 g Bergader Edelpilz
  • 100 g yoghurt
  • 4 tbsp. milk
  • 4 tbsp. cream
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1-2 tbsp. icing sugar
  • 1 pinch of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

For the skewers:

  • 1/4 pineapple
  • 250 g strawberries

In addition:

  • approx. 12 wooden skewers
  • 1 tsp. crushed red peppercorns

Step 1
For the sauce cut Bergader Edelpilz into small pieces and puree with yoghurt, milk and cream. Season with lemon juice, icing sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and cayenne pepper.

Step 2
Peel the pineapple, remove the core and cut into approx. 2 cm pieces. Wash and clean the strawberries and halve or quarter them. Thread the pieces of pineapple and strawberries alternately on the wooden skewers and place on serving plate. Serve the cheese sauce separately. Garnish with crushed red pepper.

Tip: Instead of Bergader Edelpilz you can also use Bavaria blu.
