Caciotta

Caciotta is one of the most popular cheeses in Italy. The cheese ripens over around three weeks and it has a fresh, mildly aromatic taste. It is popular on bread or as an addition to salads. It is also used frequently for vegetable au gratin or as a pizza topping. The semi-soft cheese is produced from the best milk of the Bavarian Alpine Foreland.
