Labelling

Observant customers can find all the important information about the individual cheese types on cheese packaging or at the cheese counter. It is compulsory to provide the name of the cheese, the cheese group and the type of milk used if it is not pasteurized cow's milk. The fat content in dry matter (fat i.d.m.) or the absolute fat content must also be stated. The health mark shows the country of origin if this is not indicated elsewhere. The weight and list of ingredients must of course also be present on all cheese packaging.
