8 x gold und 2 x silver for our brands at the DLG Quality Competition 2013

The Bergader's cheese specialities were distinguished several times for their outstanding quality. Six cheese specialities were awarded the much sought-after gold medal by the quality testers of the German Agricultural Society.
After extensive sensory tests for taste, odour and consistency, the independent testers were in agreement.
The gold medal is awarded to:

Bergader Edelpilz (Theken-Laib)Bavaria blu (Theken-Laib)
Bavaria blu (SB-Minitorte, 150g)
Bavaria blu - Der Würzige (SB-Halbmond)
Bavaria blu - Der Milde (SB-Halbmond)
Bergader Bergbauern (SB-Minilaib, 300g)
Bergader Almkäse - würzig (SB-Halbmond)
In addition, we can also be pleased at receiving four silver medals:
The DLG annually examines almost 2,000 different milk products (milk, yoghurt, desserts, cream, ice-cream and cheese). Manufacturers from all over Europe take part in these international quality tests. Participation in Germany lies at around 85% of all dairy companies.
