If it says "cheese" on it, then there must be cheese in it. This what the German and European food laws stipulate. If there is any doubt, look at the list of ingredients. If the word "cheese" appears there, it is definitely a natural product made of milk. Cheese imitations or analogue cheeses only appear to be a high-quality milk product. They are made of vegetable oils, fats, starch, salts, emulsifiers, artificial flavourings, colourings and vegetable protein instead of milk. The cheese taste is created by artificial flavourings. The only things which cheese imitations have in common with authentic cheeses are a similar appearance and melting properties.
