The unmistakably creamy blue cheese original
Walking along a flavour bridge between strong and mild, Bavaria blu has combined its creamy, mild cheese paste with a fine blue cheese flavour since its invention over 50 years ago. Bavaria blu combines the qualities of blue cheeses and soft cheeses, and is an essential element in the range of cheeses currently on the market. It is made using a special artisanal process that allows the blue cultures to remain inside the cheese and the white mold cultures to remain on the surface, without penetrating into the heart of the cheese. It harmonises particularly well with fruity chutneys, crusty bread or aromatic red wines.
